Challenged!

I got this challenge from Purity:

  • Link to the peron who challenged you and copy paste these rules to your blog.
  • Reveal 7 ordinary or unexpected things about you.
  • Challenge 7 other bloggers by namedropping and linking to their blogs.
  • Let them know they're challenged by commenting their blogs.

Seven things about me:

1. In the winter, my flat gets so cold that when I brush my teeth in the evening I often do it inside the drying cabinet.

2. I still don't have a drivers license.

3. I've worked as a photographers assistant.

4. When I start cleaning (which isn't often enough) I get totally manic about it and can't stop cleaning. It never gets clean enough!

5. I've worked in a corset shop (Snöfrid Holgersdotter) and know how to sew corsets. I love historical clothing, and also the burlesk style.

6. I'm a big fan of red lips, but won't dare wearing red lipstick on daytime hours.

7. I love cartoons! All I ever want to watch is cartoons (or possibly comedies).

I challenge:
Ninjakotte
Billie
Sofie
Alexandra
Adeline
Johanna
Ronja

Soon enough...

Now I've ordered home a bunch of sample jars. Empty jars this time, folks!
I've bouth a few MAC pigments and since there's so much in the jars I'll never be able to use them up.
Are any of you interested in buying some pigments?

I've got these colours:

Old Gold - Gold

Kelly green - Emerald green

Teal - Violet

Basic red - Platinum

And these glitters:

Red - Reflects antique gold

Turquoise - Crystalled lime

Still ill.

I've been ill and today was the second day I missed out on school. I feel terrible! I really wanted to go there tody and participate in the lecture and wrokshop, but I couldn't. I felt a lot worse today, but my roomie is feeling better so I hope that I will too soon.
Was klicking around and found this picture, among others, at temptalia.com of MAC's monogram collection. I'm not really in to any of the products, but the packaging is fantastic. It almost makes me want to buy someting just to get the packaging. But I won't, cant fford to buy something I won't use, ha ha.
I really want to get out of the bed/sofa and go to school, wear some make up and feel energetic again. And be well enough to have a snowball fight (war) this week end as planned. But they said on the news today that the weather is turning warmer again and that the snow'll be gone by the week end. Let's hope not, shall we?

I'm not keeping my promise...

I promised to update and show pictures of my make up and other goodies that I've recently gotten. But my camera has stopped functioning! Oh no!
So unfortunatley I'm  not able to take any pictures this weekend either. I really wanted to swatch my new TMM samples and compare them to MAC and MAD minerals. Now I don't know when this update'll come. Can't afford a new camera since I'm a really poor student and only get about 7400 sek each month. That's about $880.
anyhow, I hope that I can borrow my dads camera, but he's in South Africa and won't come home for another two weeks...
But that's fine by me. My face has been swollen and my skin so dry that it really, really hurts. So the skin around the eyes is always sensitive, but now I'm red and all itchy. Better not show that off, huh? ;P

Enjoy this old pic until then!

Hello Kitty + MAC = <3

What an easy equation! I really should stop reading Rocketqueens blog, but I can't. This morning (or lunch time, because I slept through the morning) I read that MAC will release a new collection in february! A Hello Kitty-collection! How fantastic isn't that?
Reading Rocketqueens blog post I realised that I will be so incredibly poor in February. Not only is is the month where the huge annual and national book sale takes place, but also the month for valentines day and now this!
The collection isn't released in Europe until March, but I hope to get someone in the US to buy the absolute must haves for me.

The part time-blog

Hi, I'm Maggie!
I've recently started studying a two year-education called "Digital media" at Hyper Island in Stockholm. As a part of the first module I started the blog Trapped at Hyper.  As a hobby projct I've started this blog, Superficial, about me and my girly hobbies.

What does this mean? you might ask. Well, I love extensions, perfectly cut bangs and make up. So this is probably what you'll be seeing here. But I'll throw in some other stuff as well.

This weekend is a long one, since friday is *ahem* protfolio time. That means I'll just be lying around, being lazy and doing nothing. I'll try not to, but... we know how that story goes! I've recently gotten a big load of Taylor Made Minerals-samples and some MAC make up that my sister brought back from NY (that crazy girl flew there just to run the NY marathon!). My point is that... well, my goal is to finally show off my new little lovelies!

I've already become a frequent user of the MAC mineralize duo shadow "family silver" along with the MAC sharkskin shadestick. Just a small pic below, as a teaser:

I know I suck at updating my ordinary blog, so I'll tell you this now: DO NOT TRUST ME TO UPDATE THIS BLOG as frequently as I wish or perhaps should.

I thought i should keep this blog in english as well, but if there's anyone out there who thinks I should blog this in swedish instead, just let me know, allright?
